I am sure you have heard in the news or have seen trending on Facebook that President Trump has plans to pull out of the Paris agreement.
Bishop Oscar Cantú of the Roman Catholic Church declared:
The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB), along with Pope Francis and the entire Catholic Church, have consistently upheld the Paris agreement as an important international mechanism to promote environmental stewardship and encourage climate change mitigation. The Presiden’s decision not to honor the U.S. commitment to the Paris agreement is deeply troubling.
Bishop Bruce R. Ough of the United Methodist Church stated:
We believe that this decision, if not reconsidered, will contribute to worsening the state of this planet already exacerbated by overconsumption and our misuse of resources.

At the minimum, we would recommend that members of the American Solidarity Party of Ohio, LLC contribute at least $10.00 USD. We should note that making a donation to the national American Solidarity Party (as requested by Brian Lester in a separate email) is different than donating to the American Solidarity Party of Ohio as we will use the funds directly to support the American Solidarity Party in our state, where we live.
