Dear Fellow Members of the American Solidarity Party of Ohio:
It is with great sadness that I am writing to you to inform you of yet another tragic shooting that has occurred on American soil. As the American Solidarity Party of Ohio is still reflecting over the tragedy that occurred just over a week ago at the First Baptist Church of Sutherland Springs, Texas, we are informing you that another shooting at a Northern California elementary school has just taken place today, Tuesday, November 14, 2017.
NPR News reports, “a shooter in Northern California has killed at least four people in a violent rampage that began at a home and ultimately included seven separate scenes, including an elementary school, officials say.”
We at the American Solidarity Party of Ohio are in disbelief that within a week, another shooting has taken place killing and wounding children and adults alike. There is no reason for all these senseless acts of violence to occur in the United States of America! Something must change in order to prevent more senseless acts of violence from happening again!
We would like everyone to know that our sympathy and prayers go out to all the victims and their families as we mourn, yet another tragic shooting on American soil. We ask all of the members to take a moment to reflect on what has happened today and to pray for not only the victims and their families, but also, for the shooter. We must stand in solidarity with our fellow Americans as we continue to mourn for the victims of these senseless acts of violence.
As Americans, we must stand in SOLIDARITY against these senseless acts of violence! In accordance with the cultural mandate, it is our DUTY to promote justice. At the minimum, we would recommend that members of the American Solidarity Party of Ohio, LLC contribute at least $10.00 USD. We should note that making a donation to the national American Solidarity Party (as requested by Brian Lester in a separate email) is different than donating to the American Solidarity Party of Ohio as we will use the funds directly to support the American Solidarity Party in our state, where we live.
